This Program is certified and approved by the Social Security Administration and the Veterans Administration. CMMP is available in Oregon, in the following counties; Baker, Gilliam, Grant, Harney, Hood River, Malheur, Morrow, Sherman, Umatilla, Union, Wallowa, Wasco, and Wheeler counties, and in Washington state in College Place, Dayton, Waitsburg, and Walla Walla.
Oregon Money Management Program (OMMP) provides Representative Payee services through a trained and certified payee to those age 18 and older who are also very low-income. These services are provided throughout Eastern Oregon (Baker, Gilliam, Grant, Harney, Hood River, Malheur, Morrow, Sherman, Umatilla, Union, Wallowa, and Wasco counties).
Representative Payee Services - are provided by both Money Management Programs. The Program is appointed by the referring agency to manage the client account. An individualized budget is prepared. All bills and bank accounts are handled by this program. Participants may assist with their finances; however, Representative Payees will ensure that basic expenses and necessary payments are given priority.

*Financial abuse involves unauthorized use of an elderly person’s funds or property, either by a family member, caregiver, or a stranger. Signs of Financial Abuse may include:
Significant withdrawals from accounts
Unpaid bills or lack of medical care
Unnecessary services, goods, or subscriptions
Financial activity the elder couldn't have done
Changes in the elder's financial condition
Items or cash missing from the household
