CAPECO Eviction Prevention Program 


Current Additional Resources

​There are currently two programs that OHP (Oregon Health Plan) EOCCO (Eastern Oregon Coordinated Care Organization) through which members could potentially be eligible for Housing Assistance and Climate Device Assistance through the HRSN (Health Related Social Needs) program.)

Program Information

Any applicant with a 72-hour notice, 10-day notice, court ordered eviction, or other notice of non-payment stating you must vacate is eligible for assistance. 

Please be sure to have your updated contact information on the application as your application will be denied if you do not respond to a processor's request in a timely manner.

The CAPECO Eviction Prevention Program is meant to provide rental assistance to households facing immediate eviction and in some cases, non-payment of rent.

An assistance application that is pending does not guarantee safe harbor from evictions at this time.

Eligibility

Applicants will need the following documentation to be considered eligible for assistance:
  • Proof of ID for all adult members of the household
  • Proof of income for the prior 30 days for all adult household members
  • Proof of rental obligation or rental contract
  • Official Court Eviction Documentation such as first notice to appear, court summons from your county’s eviction court, 72-hour notice, ten-day notice, or other notice of nonpayment
  • Landlord Statement**

**Please note that the Landlord Statement can be automatically emailed to your landlord or property manager during the online application process.

If you or your landlord does not have access to the online application process, paper application materials and hard copy Landlord Statements can be found in both the Hermiston and Pendleton Offices.
Appointments can be made to fill out an application in-office.
Applicant’s using paper applications will need to have their landlord fill out a hard-copy Landlord Statement.
