Building Your Resume: Advice and tips on crafting a concise, stylish resume.  Tips for using active vocabulary; and advice on layout.  

Weekly Connection: Discuss current job openings, learn about resources in the area, discuss services and events, and work on developing and/or refining skills.

Building Your Cover Letter: Advice and tips on creating a custom cover letter.  Tips for using active vocabulary; and advice on layout.  

Living Your Colors: Identifying personal strengths, effective communication, working effectively with others, temperament work styles and interpersonal relations.

Get Ready for That Interview: Skills identification, increasing awareness of position requirements, answering interview questions, making a good impression and closing the interview.

Job Market / Your Skills: What employers want, essential skills, education factors in employment, skill-wage comparisons, fastest growing jobs and helpful career guides.

Marketing Yourself: Identifying the product, product development plan, evaluating strengths and skills, job applications, resumes, cover letters, researching companies, networking, and presenting the product.

Stress Management: Positive and negative stressors, physical and emotional impacts of stress, various processes and techniques for managing stress and creating peace.

Microsoft Word: Creating and editing documents, formatting text and paragraphs, and formatting documents.

Microsoft Excel: Building and editing worksheets, formatting worksheets and working with charts

Community Survival Workshops: Community Survival Workshops are offered six times a year on a variety of topics.  Workshop topics include:” Disaster Preparedness”, “Stretching Your Dollar”, and guest speakers from Legal Aid, Fair Housing Council of Oregon, and local law enforcement.
