Donate Funds- For every $1.00 you contribute, CAPECO Food Share can collect and distribute 10 pounds of food through its food distribution program.

Your $10.00 contribution helps CAPECO Food Share collect and distribute enough food to fill an emergency food box.  A typical emergency food box provides enough food for a family of four for three to five days.

Donate Food- Most food, about 63 percent, comes from the food industry- the people and businesses that have a hand in the production and distribution of the food supply.  About 15 percent of food donations come from food drives.  Throughout Oregon, numerous groups and individuals organized food drives to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds of food and thousands of dollars to fight hunger.  Organize your own local event. 

If you have safe, edible food or a food ingredient, we can probably find a way to use it.  We do value nutrition and care about convenience.  We naturally prefer high-value foods that people can easily use.  But whatever you have, please take the simple first step of contacting us so we can work together to make the best possible use of all of the food resources in our communities.
